How to make the は(wa) using English keyboard - 10-26-2011, 01:31 AM

Hi!
I am using windows 7 and have no problem typing most Japanese characters using my English keyboard, however it seems that I cannot get my computer to convert the wa into は. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Type "ha" with IME, ATOK or any input program and you'll get it.

Instead of making my own thread I just wanted to ask quickly, when I try to type stuff phonetically, it comes out something different.

For example, typing ha comes out: 口
And stuff like ni comes out: ミニ

wdf :/

You're using kana input instead of QWERTY input. Switch it. Kana input has each key equal one kana. QWERTY input lets you type in romaji and it's converted to kana. The latter is what almost everyone uses, Japanese native speakers included.
