Japanese traduction help Please - 12-01-2011, 02:30 AM

Hello, Please somebody help me to understand these Japanese characters, I been trying everything but finally I think I came to the right place. Thanks for your kind help

It means "to solve", "to understand", etc. It is only a character, not a word -- if you thought it was a word.

You said "these characters" but it is just one character.

Thanks for your help, sorry for my ignorance, I want to ask you something, when is used ionly as character it means disruption or dissolve?

Dissolve, yes. Disruption, not really but if you mean "to break up" or "to divide", yes.

Did you find this character in context or all by itself? The meaning is dependent on the context.

Hi. I found them alone, all by itself in the center of a big page in the center of a place that was not longer in service. That means the people in charge broke apart? Again, Thanks for your kind help

No, it does not mean that. This character is never used that way all by itself in Japanese.

In Chinese, I have no idea.

Hi, Following your instructions I followed the path trough chinese and finally I got the right meaning, It was an I-Ching hexagram meaning Hsieh - liberation. Again thanks for your help. Juan
