help please with translation or some info!!! - 05-14-2007, 08:34 AM

Hallo to everyone! i'm not learning Japanese yet but it occured that i need now to translate a title of the Japanese journal and to find out ant information about it. My trouble is that i 've only got its transliterated title "Nihon Bungaku". If anyone is so kind to help me, please, i'd be grateful to know the following:
1. Does "Nihon Bungaku" mean "The Japanese Literature"?
2. if you have any information about it (weather it is an academic journal or a popular mag for average readers, a sort of a digest, are there only articles or it also publishes pieces of novels, poetry, etc.)
3. i've failed to find any web sourse with a dictionary for transliterated words so far, so, if you've got a link, please post any
Thank you in advance!!
