Japanese Text Programs for PC -

I've been wanting to type in Japanese for awhile now, and I'm sure my pc already has the right pre-installed programs to carry out this process. So, do you know any good programs that you would recommend for first time users that are dependent and reliable, and easy to use? Thanks in advance.

since you obviously have the internet why not use a free text translation site, they can be slow but very handy, i use Professional Translation and Free Translator for websites and text
at the moment anyway. Im looking for better sites.  I have lived a life longer then you or I know, many time i have tread this path and made my choices, yet my soul inhabits the young body of a girl... And here i lie, awaiting my time to truely blossom  Oldsoulyoungspirit

I use this free text translation site somtimes:
Free Translation and Professional Translation Services from SDL International It's not the best translation site but i think it's good enough.
