くだもの or フルーツ? - 09-23-2013, 04:32 AM

Hey all! There used to be a "quick help" thread on here but I cannot seem to find it anymore so I will post this here.

Which of the following is more common when talking about fruit?
フルーツ or くだもの?

I am imagining that くだもの is probably more popular and that the kanji would be used more often, but I am not sure.

Any help is appreciated!

くだもの is more frequently used. "フルーツ" is usually used on drink or candy labels.
