RomajiDesu (RomajiDesu - Japanese dictionary and translator) is a very good online Japanese dictionary (supposedly for elementary to intermediate Japanese learners). It includes:

• A bi-directional Japanese dictionary with sample sentences in which you can search by Kanji, English, Kana or Romaji. The Japanese words has audible pronunciation.
• A Kanji dictionary with multi-radical look up, filters, stroke orders
• A Japanese translator which use Mecab to analyse the sentence, then translate it to Romaji, Kana, and English
• A Romaji to Hiragana/Katakana transliterator, may be useful for beginner?
