free japanese lessons in tokyo? - 07-18-2007, 07:24 AM

hey guys,

i've heard abt free japanese lessons in japan where volunteers come in and help foreigners who're interested in learning the language.

does anyone here know of any of such free japanese lessons in tokyo? (maybe one of those japanese 101 modules in local universities that foreigners can hopefully sit in? hahah)

i'm planning to go live in tokyo for a few months next year and i hope to learn some japanese while i'm there. as a last resort i can go for lessons but they're so expensive in tokyo... heh. thanks in advance for any valuable help!

Try Tokyo TimeOut. That magazine surely has that kind of info.
