I'm like uber-dumb when it comes to this stuff. You know when people say "Romaji" writing? Is it like the alphabet or something?

Sorry to bother, Heheh -__-;;

As long as we're on the topic, I might point out to everyone else that romanji is not a word. I have no idea how that 'n' snuck in there and everyone started spelling it like that, but romaji is the correct way.

Carry on .

you know, before answering the topic i checked a book of mines just to make sure i wasn't going to end up saying the wrong thing and didn't even notice there was no N! i think its because its the roman alphabet, i just expected there to be an N lol.

The person who made this topic is young right?
I suggest to the topic maker if you plan to learn japanese now is the time its much easier to learn languages when you are young.
So if you want to move there i think i seen you write this in another topic.
But yes if you want to move there when you are older you will alreay have a good knowlege of japanese speaking and writing which will benefit you when the time comes.

[insert cool sig here]

I totally agree. I'm only 16 and I have to goto school at 6:30 and I come home at 3 and then goto work from 5 - 11 PM. That gives me that 1.5 hours of free time after school and then from 11 to 1/2 AM to study. I remember during this summer when I didn't have a job, I studied for 3-4 hours, everyday. I got through a whole elementary course textbook within a month and a half. Right now I'm on the 90th page of about 220 in my second elementary course textbook.

With you being a 13 year old, and 5 years ahead of yourself, you'll definitely have enough time to learn Japanese and move to Japan when you turn 18
