verbal suffix -(e)do

In Shiina Ringo's lyrics I've encountered the forms 弄れど (masaguredo, see here) and 愛せど (aisedo, see here), but I wasn't able to find these constructions in my grammar books.
My best guess is that they're contracted from masaguru kedo, ai suru kedo. Is that correct?

No, that is not correct. It is not contracted from anything but it's surely related to けど.

This is the connective particle ど, which means "doing ~~ but --" , "even though you do ~~, ----", etc. Unlike けど, it is more often used in writing than in speaking.

ど is synonymous to 「けれども」、「～～が、しかし」、「～～ても」, etc.
