Kanji books

Does anyone know which would be the best books to learn kanji?

did you try "Japanese for Young People"? that's the one i use.

Remembering the Kanji by James Heisig is really, really popular. And Kodansha Kanji Learner's Dictionary oughta be good.

If you are a graphic type person Kanji Pict-O-Graphix is helpful at least for remebering the kanji. I like Basic Kanji Book.

oo the pictograpix was fun.. it helps cuz it would show you a base kanji, and show you how it would be used in other kanji, with a picture that would be as closely related to what it meant, while being in the shape of the kanji..

really fun
