Sumimasen, really sorry to bother, but may I ask for help about two sentences?

中目 #280 磨耗の少ないとき、仕上げ
荒目 #120 磨耗の多いとき、 下地研ぎに

I think it's some knife intructions.

May I know what do they mean?

It is instructions for sand papers.

#280 when the object is not so damaged or finishing up.
#120 when the object is heavily damaged or pre-finishing up.
