Please help with searching of info in old Japanese scientific paper
 

Dear all,
I am geologist from Russia, and now looking for information about pseudomorphs after ikaite, so-called glendonites or gennoi-shi. Their records are well-known from Cenozoic rocks of Japan, Sakhaline and Kamchatka, but the oldest record of these pseudomorphs from this region to my knowledge has been mentioned only once in the following paper:

I am know only name of pseudomorphs used herein - ‘Hokoseki’ (it could be erroneous transliteration as it made from Russian, because I have found this information in a little-known Russian article).
Could you help me and post here info (if it is present in the discussed paper) about age of these records (Triassic, Jurassic or Cretaceous?) and locality where they were found?

Otsuki once found a stone called "方孔石:HOUKOU-SEKI;Stone with square hole" in SENDAI, which has diamond shape hole (maximum diameter 2 cm).

Later, he found that the hole was made by a "玄能石:GEN'NOH-ISHI" fallen from the stone.

He wondered that the GEN'NOH-ISHI is found only in the tertiary layer in Japan while HOUKOU-SEKI is found in Middle Century (I'm not sure for this translation).

"Middle Century" should means Mesozoic, that is the middle between Paleozoic and Cenozoic
