Momotarou

Hi there,

I am reading a small story in Japanese and have come across this sentence:

おじいさん、 はよう もどって きなされ

What is きなされ? Is there a kanji for it? Sometimes it's really difficult to read kana only...

Thanks!

”来なされ:KI-NASARE;come (in rather old polite style)"

"NASARE" is instruct/order style of "NASARU:do(in polite style)".

"おじいさん、 はよう もどって きなされ" should be translated as "Old man, Come back quickly.".

Ah, I see! Thanks :)
