Need help translating a sentence
I do not trust my Japanese so much.
Anyway need help translating: "Happiness resembles glass" Thank you in advance! |
Google translates it as "幸福はガラスに似ている:KOUFUKU WA GARASU NI NITE-IRU". It is quite correct.
Are you satisfied ? It depends on your purpose of this translation if the translation is good enough. |
It looks correct to me. I would have used SHIAWASE but KOUFUKU seems more appropriate. Will learn why exactly NI and IRU are used :)
Thank you very much, kind sir! |
"NI" is used to indicate direction like as "to" in "resemble to".
"IRU" means "exist" and works as be-verb. |
