Thumbs up いいね! - Feminine? - 11-19-2017, 03:34 AM

Situation- Something good happened to your friend. (Got a good grade on their test, won some money gambling, the girl they like agreed to date them, etc.)

You say to your friend:
いいね! - ii ne!

Question 1
I've heard that using ね after an い adjective as an exclamation sounds feminine. Does いいね! in the above situation sound feminine?

Question 2
Would いいな! (ii na!) mean the same thing?

Thanks!

"いいね!:IINE!;Good!" is not only for girls.

Rather, girls prefer to use "いいわね:IIWA-NE":It is Good!".

"いいな:II-NA" means also "Good" but has different nuance of envy.

Also, please note "いいね:IINE”, "いいわね:IIWA-NE" and "いいな:II-NA" are used as another meaning "right?".
