"The Consumed" translation - 02-22-2012, 11:43 AM

Hi everyone. I'm an illustrator creating an image on the subject of consumption, both in the commercial aspect and in a more personal sense of having one's identity consumed by society, etc.

I'm in need of a title in Japanese, which should be a translation of "The Consumed," and would ideally retain most of the possible English meanings.

Specifically, it should be optionally singular or plural, and should denote something(s) or someone(s) that is (are) A, eaten; B, destroyed or expended by use; C, spent wastefully; or D, absorbed or engrossed (i.e. with curiosity).

I realize of course that this may be a tall order, and I'm open to alternatives. A one-word or three-word title is fine, and some shift in meaning is okay too.

Thanks in advance!
