Jlpt!

So, who's taking it this year? What are you shooting for?

I'm going for level 3 next year, unless I really want to grind and get 2.

I'm going for Level 2. I've lived in Japan for a year, so I'm confident (but still nervous). Wish me luck!

When you mention it I have a question:-) I don't have any levels passed and can I go for level 3 without doing level 4 first?

nightlord24 10-11-2007 12:10 PM

yup you can, i got a couple of friends who skipped 4, went for 3 and passed the test

mamok 10-12-2007 02:15 AM

Thanks. Thats exactly what I will do:)

I'm just gunna study hard until I feel the need to test myself. The real test is using what you learn in Japan with real people, in real situations.

Hatredcopter 10-12-2007 03:15 AM

Well, the JLPT is actually very often by employers in Japan to gauge a foreigner's Japanese language skills. There are many practical reasons for taking the JLPT rather than to just test yourself.

you can take whatever level you want without passing for the others, im going to take 3 level this year, i made 4 level the past year, it was easy but i think the 3 level test will be more dificult x.x.. however.. i hope to pass xD..
