Has anyone seen the J-zombie film Stacy?
 

Its a low budget classic with some good ol' gore effects and a bizzare plot about school girls who reach the age of 17 and turn in to flesh eating zombies called Stacies, its got some nice references to other films such as Evil Dead 2 and Bruce Campbell and George A. Romero who directed the Dead Quadrilogy:D

It's also very funny in a lot of places too.

yeah I know the chainsaw advertising scene is funny where they call Bruce Campbell Blues Campbell, and the Romero squad being reduced to tears by the annoyingly happy girl, I assume you have got the version released by synapse

Yeah I got the Synapse version, the film was odd but the liner notes were equally bizarre... about the director being a stalker and all.

If you like Stacy you might like Junk and Wild Zero too, they're all a bit weird.

I think I have seen that on their online shop,cheers, thank goodness for multi-regional players, although synapse have recently been putting region 0 on their discs:cool:
