Hey I want to know of some good Japanese movies to watch/buy that are in Japanese with english subs. anyone know of any? they can be horror/funny/drama whatever! :vsign:

There is a movie called Shinobi: Heart under the Blade. It is similar to Romeo and Julie, except it has to do with 2 ninja clans

Battle Royale!

The action is tacky but the characters and the relationships between them are interesting and complex in context with the plot. Also the idea is original.

But whatever you do!!! DON'T see BR2. I try to pretend that movie doesn't exist. :vsign:

the live action movie of initial-d drift racer is actually really good,some beautiful cinematography and a pretty cool soundtrack

ichi the killer is also a great one (not for the squeemish tho!;))

man !! there are so many i dont know when to begin !
maybe u could narrouw down a genre eg horror etc so we could say what is good.

eureka or ユリイカ, a masterpeice
