That would suck! >.< I hate all these disney stars that think they are God. I hate it when the little kids start in disney and then they are singers the next week. Disney should have stuck to the cartoon movies.
And I really don't think Americans should be allowed to re-make movies. They ruin EVERYTHING they touch! Not just movies from other countries, they also ruin American stuff! >.< Sorry, but I really don't like America too much. I hate it here... ;.; Sorry, I think I got a little off-topic... >.>

I say good, since they are already going to f... up, they should f... up good.
The movie itself will most likelly going to be a piece of crap and it will fail, so they might as well take somebody down... So I say, go with Efron! And if you can take other disney characters, better!   Natural Born Headbanger \m/ TAG Game Score: Crani:51

i heard about that zac effron rumor and ugh disgust in my heart i would forever link high school musical and death note together ruining one of the best manga/anime/live action/whatever else connected with it ever
i'm not to keen on it being made over in hollywood anyway i think they did a good enough job in japan with the live action and it would just give off a strange vibe idk maybe i'm just weird

Unknown actors usually do good jobs.. that way you knowing their trying their hardest in the audition and in the film cuz its their big break instead of "hello im that guy from HSM let me ruin death note"

but yeah you're right its best for someone unknown, i can't even picture any american actor pulling it off, since it has to be young people for the main parts and sorry there is nobody out there right now that i could see pulling that off however if they do go with "hsm guy" they might as well cast jamie lynn spears as misa , one of the jonas brothers for L
