I did a search, and when I use the term plats, it asks if I meant plaits.
It seems it's only plaits.

ok... I don't think it's Makise who gets kicked. I need to find a better quality vid though. (unless it's a different scene you mean?)

Sugihara... I think that may be his name.

When I use the term "plats", I never get a corrected spelling option. Perhaps the spelling is different in certain countries, like "colour" and "color"?

As for the person with braids, do you mean Tsutsumoto?

I can't remember the beggining very well, but the person who was kicked had a shaven head, so I assumed it was Makise.

If Sugihara is who I think he is, then the person I want to know the name of, stands in front of him in the assembly, before the shaven head guy was kicked.

Tsutsumoto is one of Tamao Serizawa's closer comrads, like Tokio and Yuji Tokaji.

Do you remember the person who stands up and calls the guy on the stage a squid head? That's the person I want to know the name of.

wikipedia usually does pretty well. oh! I found him now! Shoji Tsutsumoto.
