Kimi wa petto: about a woman who takes a young man as a pet.

Hana Yori Dango (1&2): about a low class girl who falls in love with a richer guy.

Life (raifu): about a girl that gets bullied in high school.

Those are some of my favorites. My Soju should have all of them.

Mrs. Cinderella and Beautiful Life.

I echo Hana Yori Dango, but insist the anime is way, way, WAY better.

Also Nodame Cantible and Ace o Narae, but again, I think the anime versions are better.

Why are all these dramas 11 episodes long?

I think that might just be the way jdramas are... 11 to 13 episodes long. The longest I've seen are about 20 episodes.

Trust me, thats a good amount for Jdramas. Mexican dramas are good, but soooooo long. Some dramas lasted for 4 years and they were shown daily. After a while they got boring lol. Japanses dramas are awesome but short.
