It came out when I was in Japan... not sure if there's an English release yet.

My favourite Japanese film is Battle Royale

And my second favourite foreign film of all time (beaten only by Battle Royale) is actually a South Korean film called 'A Tale of Two Sisters.'

おくりびと、or Departures in English. My students were advisers for the film, so I am very proud of them since it won an Academy Award. It was also very realistic.

My favourite Japanese movie is: Departures. I love just everything about this movie; from the main character, through plot, to music. It's simply beautiful and I strongly recommend it to everyone, not only dreamers
