I remember watching a show similar to Power Rangers - 02-15-2010, 05:50 AM

In the opening, it had the green warrior freeing himself from a chain.

I watched it when I was very young. What is the title?

One of the Kamen Rider series or maybe Beetleborgs (forgot the Japanese name for this one).

Can you remember anything else about the show so that we can help better?

i just looked up VR Troopers but they are white, and the one I'm trying to find was Japanese.

From what I remember I think they had a band of their color, like the green guy had a green band on his head and the blue guy had blue band on his head?

in the opening song the green guy is all chained up and freeing himself

They are called "Sentai Mono" or "Sentai Series".

I feel foolish for not even thinking of all the series that came out in Japan prior to Kyouryuu Sentai Zyuuranger. So, it was Flashman. I've never seen it, but shoulda figured it was an older Sentai series.
