I'm glad you agree Will, and for the record, you can just call me Kanji. That is fine . I also noticed as well it is not only the scenes with the colors, that make is so nice it is the musical score he selects is very peaceful and serene. The musicians definitely know how to utilize a violin.

Yes indeed it is, the end song of 'House of flying daggers' is just amazing, it finishes the film of so well, and if you was wondering what song it is,

Kathleen Battle-Lovers, it does say in the credits, i think its a fantastic song anyways, but with the film and that kind of ending its perfect.

The make-up also is great especially on Ziyi Zhang, when in the peony pavillion, i mean she is naturally beautiful anyways but just looks great, oh and in Memoirs of a Geisha, absolutly amazing.

I've seen House of flying daggers, and even though it was like.. in January or something, it's still my favorite movie. I've also seen Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Memoirs of a Geisha. I love all three of them <3

They are all beautifully mastered, using the colour and music to emphasis moods and feelings, zhang yimou is just a great director.
Since my last post on this thread i have purchased and watched the banquet, an amazing film, very well done, and as usual zhang ziyi looks amazing.

love his work, especially the digital effects of COGF. I duno why all foreigners call ziyi zhang ziyi zhang. It actually backwards. Zhang ZIYI

It is backwards, however she prefers the media to call her Ziyi Zhang, i read about it only Chinese people call her Zhang Ziyi the reason is blatent.
However all foreigners and media call her Ziyi Zhang which she doesnt mind.
