Wook Chan Park's Cut.

Amazing.

..which I forgot is NOT Japanese. So, in that case: Ichi the Killer was good. However, I can't say it's my favorite.

The Death and Resurrection

oh, yes. one of my favorites. (It's Park Chan-wook, though)
I checked out a DVD from the library with that and Box from Takashi Miike and Dumplings from Park Chan-wook.

Unfortunately it was a really messed copy, and I couldn't watch Cut past the first ten minutes.

Ichi is also one of my favorites. I'm sure I've posted about it here somewhere.

I haven't seen much, so I'll have to go with the only one I actually have seen, Ichi The Killer.

Yojimbo.
It's one of my favorite. Even though it's old, I still love it.
Toshiro Mifune, does a really good job playing his chracter in this movie.
And the story is amazing.

Next is 'The Sword Of DOOM".
It's another wonderful movie made by Kihachi Okamoto.
It's really shows how being a samurai
could drive a person insane if they were not ready for it.
