twilight samurai - 05-18-2007, 10:17 AM

Its such a good tale of a samurai who has nothing, just a 50 koku family (by the way a koku is the amount of rice one needs in one year, although it would never really help) and two daughters, a senile mother who doesn't remember him and a wife that was sick and is now dead, with some love interests...

good night...

Tasogare Seibei is one of the first movies that I 've ever watch about samurai, far awys from the regular cliche. We can see the humans side of the samurai, with there everydays problems, and joys .i love this movie And never forget the great performance of Sanada Hiroyuki, and Miyazawa Rie.in thei movie they are really great.

Fucking brilliant was my sentiment. XD One of the better films I've seen in the past year or so. The Hidden Blade by the same director was pretty good to. I'd say twilight Samurai was the better of the two though.
