GRINDHOUSE in Japan - 09-18-2007, 06:34 PM

Tarantino's and Rodriguez's GRINDHOUSE comes out in Japan this month. But unlike the US release, the movies were seperated into two. Tatantino's DEATHPROOF came out last week, and then PLANET TERROR comes out next week.

This was probably in response to the low ticket sales of a nearly 4 hour movie session. I liked the two together, but wondered what you thought.

I love Tarantino, all of his films. Can't wait to watch it!

(I'll vote when I've seen it)

In certain countries Death Proof was released in june, Planet Terror will be released on september 28th. That's simply pathetic. This was meant to be a double movie, why do you have to split it in two parts and show them with a 3 months gap!?
I think that a flick has to be shown everywhere in the world as it was originally intended to be. It's a double feature? Well, then show them both together!!

I thought two weeks was too long for Japan...3 months!!! That doesn't make sense...

Did they include the fake trailers, as well?
