im not really a fan of horror movies but i have watched two sisters and it was really tragic
the part where the the narrator walks out of the house without helping her sister >.<

I liked Premonition.

The storyline is pretty scary, but I never liked the other Japanese scary movies. I remember sleeping through Ju-on.

Harakiri (Seppuku) is probably one of my favorite Japanese movies ever, as well as many of Kurosawa's masterpieces (Seven Samurai, Ikiru, Akahige, etc). As for slightly newer movies, I like many of Takeshi Kitano's movies as well.
