I have never heard about the studio Ghlibi before but I still voted for equal.

Ghibli made stuff like Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Laputa: Castle in the sky etc.

This is an impossible question. The two companies' physical sizes are just too different. If Studio Ghibli ever becomes even half as big as Disney, I predict that it will be a pretty boring anime producer trying to please everyone in the world....like Disney. So Ghibli must stay small if it wants to produce as good animes as it is now.

Miyazaki films are my absolute favourite. Disney could never get close. The fantasy worlds Miyazaki creates really suspend disbelief, and are a work of art.

Disney tunes may be catchy, but Ghibli takes the cake

I think the question would be better answered if you took it to mean which is superior as in, which one you prefer.

Yes I agree, Miyazaki took me away with Princess Mononoke. Eww, can't get the squiggly blood thingies out of my head!! But if, by superior you mean profitable wise then Disney takes the cake. But if you mean idea/visiually creative then Ghibli takes the trophy on that one. I mean come on who creates paralell dimensions right under humans' noses?? OOh and what about Kiki's Delivery Service I liked that movie.

I loved studio Ghibli Films, Heck they had more feelings than the disney ones. ^^

though i do love old school Disney as well. XD
