Searching for 2 old movies.... - 10-24-2007, 04:08 PM

My dad was stationed at Tachikawa AFB back in the late 60s. He and I were cast in 2 movies and I'm searching for copies of them. The first was titled " Battle for the Japan Sea", and the second was titled "Dankon", or "Bullet Wound". Does anyone out there know where I can obtain these, or if they are even available? Thanks in advance. Steve Liljedahl

if u'r lookin for movies, you can go to either of these webs:
5GB of free space to upload and share your files, photos, videos and music - eSnips.com
YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.
IMEEM - what's on your playlist?
Dailymotion - Share Your Videos

if u hav a realplayer software, u can download the movies that 'cha want.

Did you even read this guy's post? Do you really think some obscure Japanese movies from the 1960s are going to be available in their entirety on YouTube?

Being a fan of old Japanese movies, I tried to look them up for you. I couldn't find any copies of Dankon available (even searched Japanese auction sites), but I'm certain this may be the second movie you're looking for..

-> Amazon.co.jp

It's on the Japanese version of Amazon.com, and there were no places I could find it for sale on an English website, so this may be your only option. The Japanese title is Nihonkai Daikaisen (日本海大海戦), which means [the naval] Battle of the Japan Sea. If this was the movie you were in, I have to ask one question of you... did you meet Toshiro Mifune ?
