I saw a report on a friends-locked livejournal, and I've no permission to repost it here, but it was devastatingly sad. The whole rest of Versailles were there, in suits, and they looked awful. His family was there, his new-half friend was there (you've seen her on his blog, he used to call her his sister), and there was an exhibition of his costumes and nails. Not a happy occasion."

There was a large picture of Jasmine at the end of the hall, with flowers and candles set out. We were given white bud roses by staff. Then, singly or in groups, fans placed the flowers in front of the picture. There was a certain way to do it, bowing at the right time, placing the flower just so. After that, fans turned to bow to a man I didn't recognize, the band, and one of the roadies. As we left the hall, we were given an envelope and directed upstairs to a room, where some of Jasmine's costumes, equipment, and accessories were on display.

No one said anything. It was very quiet in the hall, except for sniffling. Many fans were crying. I think that's okay. Kamijo, Hizaki, and Yuki wrote blog entries afterwards, and they understood and appreciated that the tears were because so many people loved Jasmine.

This was quite short, sorry. I don't really want to write about it in detail."

Um, I actually said that maybe three or four posts ago(it's the last post on the previous page).

On the fourth of January, Versailles will have a memorial ceremony for Jasmine You at SHIBUYA O-EAST. They will be performing along with Kaya and Matenrou Opera. Doors open at 5:00 pm, and the performance(s) will begin at 6:00 pm. The cost for advance tickets will be 4,000 yen; tickets at the door on the day of the event will be 4500 yen.

In about two hours, Tainted Reality will be airing their interview with Versailles, in which Versailles will discuss V-ROCK FESTIVAL '09, their upcoming album, and for the first time in American media, the passing of Jasmine You. If anybody is interested, as I mentioned before, it's going to be in about two hours at taintedreality.net.
