i think jyou is the english spelling.. and jyo is the correct japanese romanji spelling and pronunciation..

lol ok.. in that case i'll use the long form 'japanese'..
erm.. they spelled it in japanese romanji.. like in mally's case.. her name in english spelling would be mally and mari for japanese romanji..
i hope it does explain something.. ^^"
and it doesn't matter if u spell it jyo or jyou because both are correct..
