Well, they have just released a new studio album this year, so i would not speak about them in the past tense.

Here's their latest music video:

Loudness - Metal Mad

Let's headbang tEh scorpion style!
:D

Sutiiven 04-08-2008 10:59 PM

yeah i guess you're Ex except some old songs are good but metal mad there is an awesome song :vsign:

Nagoyankee 04-09-2008 02:35 AM

Loudness is THE ultimate Japanese metal band! Akira Takasaki is a guitar god.
I've seen them live 5 times, 3 times in Japan and twice in the U.S. (SF and Berkeley, Calif.). They played small night clubs in the U.S. back then because it was their first U.S. tour. This was over 20 years ago. Both in SF and Berkeley, I was standing in the first row against the stage, only 2 feet from Takasaki!! It was an out-of-this-world experience! Their older stuff rocks!

I understood they broke up. The last time I saw them they had a white lead singer, and although Akira Takasaki is a guitar god, their best years were behind them, in my opinion.

Sutiiven 04-09-2008 05:42 AM

Well The guy singing in the metal mad video looks asian. After so many CD's you would think of a GH albums. MMM do you know any other old School bands?

Old School in what way?

Sutiiven 04-09-2008 05:46 AM

say like 60's to 80's

Nagoyankee 04-09-2008 05:48 AM

How about Vow Wow if you mean older Japanese bands...

MMM 04-09-2008 05:51 AM

I am not old enough to be heavy into the 60s or 70s music, but some 80s favorites were X Japan, Rebecca, Princess Princess, Boowy, The Blue Hearts, T.M. Revolution...stuff like that.

Vow Wow was a good one, too!

Sutiiven 04-09-2008 05:53 AM

yeah stuff like that some metal maybe and like early day rock :D

That is awesome MMM and Nagoyankee . some good older music seems better at times

wow the Bluehearts and rebbeca and Vow Wow they all sound good . Which songs is everyones favs?

MMM 04-09-2008 06:10 AM

For the Blue Hearts it's definately "Linda Linda" and probably "Train Train". Boowy is probably "B.Blue", "Only You", "No New York", "Marionette" (man, there are so many...)

Sutiiven 04-09-2008 06:15 AM
