V-rock Festival '09!!! -
10-19-2009, 08:16 PM
EVERYBODY!!! I was just at the US JaME site, and apparently, V-ROCK FESTIVAL '09 is going to be broadcasted for all to see as it happens, which means we won't be able to see everything, but at least we have the opportunity to watch some of it, considering that not all of us are able to attend. It will start on Saturday and Sunday at 11:00-21:00 Japan time.
There are certain stipulations, such as needing to have at least Windows Media Player 9 and the latest version of Adobe Flash, but the V-ROCK FESTIVAL site should have links up for those things already. As previously mentioned elsewhere, Versailles will be preforming on Sunday, so I'm personally assuming that they will show that(I hope I get to see Matenrou Opera, exist+trace, and the GazettE). Did they actually say the focus would be on booths? I know they mentioned that they would be showing behind the scenes stuff and booths, but they did say they would be showing some of the performances(I WANT TO SEE EXIST+TRACE AND MATENROU OPERA!!!! XD). They just said that they wouldn't be showing everything because it's live.
If most of what they are going to show are booths, you're right, it's somewhat senseless, because I'm sure there are those of us who won't understand a word of what they are saying if it's in Japanese, and I'm almost certain that that is the language they will be using; since it's live, they can't exactly sub it... But, here's to hoping that we see more performances than booths. If at 23:20(11:20 pm)on Saturday(obviously the time over here; in Japan, it will be Sunday, 12:20 pm) they don't show Matenrou Opera, I'll wait to see if they show SOMETHING involving them, but if they don't, I'm going to sleep because I have to work on Sunday. Otherwise, I'd watch till the end, since the last performance is the GazettE. Too bad I'll have to miss that. |

Does anyone yet know if this could be recorded so that people could watch it later on YouTube?

It would be much appreciated if they were also recording it on DVD, but if you look at the site, they want any copyright violations to be reported. Also, if you look at the history of some bands' videos on YouTube, I wouldn't be surprised if they were to come in and get rid of it as soon as they find out that someone has uploaded videos.
There are quite a bit of stipulations in place for various things there; as a fan, for example, if you want to get an autograph, you have to purchase something and get a ticket for that particular autograph session, and are not allowed to film or take pictures of the session as it occurs. |
