Smile Two Words: Gackt n' Hyde (the n doesnt count) - 10-19-2006, 06:16 PM

You know you have heard of them...
you know they are hot...
but what do you really like about them?
I still cant decide if Gackt is really human and Hyde isnt a vampire for real. If you have no IDEA who or what i am talking about let me clue you in:
Gackt sings "Redemption" for the new ff7 game Dirge of Cerberus and has had many albums sold all over Japan, and his most popular song is "Vanilla" where wilst performing displayed many acts of Yaoi (trigger word for many fangirls) just as a crowd pleaser....
Hyde is the lead singer (or was) of L'arc en Ciel who sings the hit song "Ready Steady Go" for all you Full Metal Alchemist buffs. But released his latest solo album "Faith". The two singers also appear in the movie "Moon Child" (which was written by Gackt himself) where Hyde plays a vampy and Gackt plays his best (human) friend also Hyde has played a bit part in the Short film "Kagen no Tsuki" but i think thats about it

I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!! I really like the music for it as well. I think its apart of some of their outward "public" appearances that will get you confused.

Was? He still is - they haven't broken up or anything.

Anyway, I'm not really a Gackt fan, but I lovelovelove Hyde. I like his music, with and without L'Arc.

L'Arc/Hyde was the first band/artist that I liked to see live performances. Before, I never liked hearing songs performed live (like at concerts), because I didn't like the way artists change the song some when singing live - until L'Arc/Hyde, I love watching their concerts <3

They took a break so that they could each work on their solo careers, but they didn't 'break up' at all. In fact, they performed for the Music Station 20th Ann. Special, and they have their own 15th Ann. Concert coming up.

So they didn't break up, they just took a little time to do their own thing - they're working together again now.
