I don't know anything about Kpop or Jpop. however I think kpop is getting more popular in the world. in that matter PSY and their rocky song "gangnam style" has a big role.

totally agree. PSY raised Kpop to a completely different level

I actually think that PSY's kind of music and kpop as a "whole" are two very different things. Gangnam Style was just another "Las Ketchup Song" or "Dragosta din tei". It doesn't define kpop nor its popularity at all, imo.
