The Miyavi concert was SAIKO [awesome]
So here's my descriptive low-down on the concert itself.

The queue
I arrived at the venue, the astoria 2 by noon. It was already packed out.i had to go round the corner to queue. Unlike Ancafe, there were ALOT more guys, both VK, average and Ghetto. Miyavi's music really does reach all spheres. I can't believe i got there 7 hours early too. Unlike Ancafe's venue, the astoria 2's surroundings were much dirtier and smelt like piss. =_=. I soon found my fellow street team friends who were doing a flag and a book to give to Miyavi. By 4-5 o clock, everyone was nearly standing waiting to be let in. It was because of this our feet started to really hurt. My friends especially, because they had been wandering around london all night and saving a place in the queue. alas, they lost it. =_=

Fortunately, we found a place in the queue, all thanks to my new friends/street team members= Jou, Ben, Nepi, AnH.

The people in the queue were also very differently dressed, There were some lolita's, not as much as Ancafe, a few kigurumi's, but mainly people in the VK style. Their clothes must have COST ALOT OF money. In addition, girls were wearing like REALLY short short skirts, is that even conveniant. As for me, t shirt, jeans, waistcoat. I couldn't be asked.

The concert
we were finally allowed into the venue at 7.15PM. and our legs were like jelly, we decided to stand on the balcony because the front of the stage was very filled up. Besides we could see the whole stage and there were seats available. The band came out at 8.45-9PM. It consisted of Tyko[ yes, he came back!], teddyloid, Saro, Ryo[drums] and Hige Chang. Miyavi came out in a parasol and a japanese dressing gown. WHAT AN ENTRANCE, and seductively grins at the screaming audience. The ever present crowd teaser. Tyko and Saro were egging the audience even more, They burst into song. I can't remember the set list exactly, But here's the ones i know were played

What also surprised me was the chemistry between the band members, Tyko and Saro played around whilst miyavi sang, they egged the audience with hand shakes. At one point, Miyavi played his guitar over his head. Also there were duets with some of the members. Miyavi and Saro, Miyavi sang/played guitar whilst Saro's tap shoes provided percussion. Teddyloid beatboxing and Miyavi singing/playing guitar.

Teddyloid is the NEW rising star, He and Miyavi blew me away completely. I want teddyloid at my party. At one point, Teddyloid was given his own spotlight, remixing a number of Miyavi's old songs. He got the crowd dancing and singing along to dear, my friend, and some other songs. Also Teddyloid is scrumtious, a few months older than me- he is 18, an amazing beatboxer and pretty good looking. Im sure Nantena would have LOVED him.[but he's too damn skinny]

Saro, the tapdancer was also incredibly hilarious, everytime i looked his way, i would totally crack up, he just had that face. XDD. Tyko was also amazing, constantly egging the crowd on and rapping away like there is no tomorrow. ^^ During one song, Miyavi even hopped on top on the speaker and seductively put his hands down his trousers. everyone was MESMERISED.

And so the next generation of J-music Junkies danced the night away, screaming YEEAAAH, SAIKOO, MIYAAAVIII at any of Miyavi's questions. His english is competant, unlike Tyko's who no one could understand.

My favourite song was are you ready to rock! It got the crowd going, I was suddenly glad i wasn't down in the crowd, because they were jumping in unison, and also they were swaying and pushing and it was just general violence. And my feet hurt so i would have DIED.

Encore
During the encore, i got a miyavi t shirt, its black. ^^ so everyone was alreayd screaming for an encore when i got back, The kavki boys came out first, decked all in the Miyavi merch, singing one of their songs and certainly got the crowd going. Miyavi jumped out in his OVERTLY skinny jeans and started waving at the crowd and sang what a wonderful world, in which EVERY JOINED IN. It was a beautiful sight.

Overall
He looks better than the poster pictures of him, he is the man himself and he steals the show away. Although a considerable amount of spotlight also goes on to the Kavki boys, This balance in team work certainly gives Miyavi, that extra edge that he didn't have when he was not with the Kavki boys.

it sounds pretty much like our concert...with the add of miyavi passing out >.< but you wrote it super nice. i was in the second/third line so squeezed together i couldn't even breath. i saw his sweatdrops falling down his hands and it was hot like in hell x.x it was worth it though. and yaaay i have a shirt tooooo. a black one -boogies-

@nan - oki clam down -pats head- yep he kinda just collapsed after the fourth or fifth song and then we had like 20 minutes of dj-time since they had to get him back together and they just carried him off stage. my eyes went all watery ._. but when he came back he was okie again. he said "are you ok?" and we went all "yaaaaay" and then he said "i am okay too" and then we all screamed again. and he smiled and said "before i was not okay. very bad." and the crowd:"awwww" and him " now i'm supaaa are you ready to rrrrrock?" XD he's such a dork

i didn't like totaly cry but i was about to >.< it was just like he sat down on the speaker behind him and he looked up and then just fell down. and his staff guy just ran on stage and picked him up and carried him down and we all started to scream. even though i got then 20 minutes of teddy from 1 meter distance XD but i was worried for miyavi but then the staff dude came out again and he said miyavi is okei and we just need to wait some more time so well we did. like we had any other choice 8D
