I do not believe that attaching labels (metal, rap, electro music maniac) to foreheads of other people and most importantly to your Devil damned self is admirable in any single way. Trying to be like someone else, some other party is, as i believe, evidence of ones lack of taste and desire to maintain his/hers uniqueness... I have my own distinct style and i am not trying to copy anyone, never have.
When it comes to music, i listen to different kinds of music, but mainly different sub-genres of heavy metal, nevertheless, I ain't wearing leather pants, chains, headbands, t-shirts of my favorite bands (though i own some )...
so, though music plays a big role in my life, i don't belong to any of the freakin' sub-cultures... self expression and being myself is my culture, a "stage" of my own...

Hmm....I don't think I have a scene. I have too many varied tastes really.
I'm into metal and punk alot.

Out of metal it would mostly be the black/death/folk stuff.
And for punk it would most be hardcore punk. More specifically emocore. I'm not as into straight edge or grindcore though I do listen to those subgenres from time to time.

I don't label myself. But others label me all the time, so I just tell them to call me scene..since they apparently feel like they need to call me by some stereotype, for some reason.

I don't listen to only one type of music, or dress in one certain style, so choosing on 'scene' would be impossible for me.

I really don't have a scene either...my tastes are pretty eclectic since one minute I'll listen to traditional Irish music and the next, I might be listening to Miyavi. It all depends on my mood.
