Gilgamesh~

I've heard it's just the American way to say it. also if you take Gilgamesh, and put it into Japanese, of course the l changes to r, and you have to add a u.

But if there's a better more concise or something, explanation, the guys in the guys probably would know it better. So, maybe ask them?

And there is no "L" in Japanese anyway........

I assume it's because 'ru' is pronounced as 'l' in Japanese. ^^;

girugametsushiyu apparently turns into 'gilgamesh'. XD

The band themselves write it 'Girugämesh'.

Emmm I actually saw a comment with them from Wacken-Germany and they pronounced it with 'r'.
So the ones who are calling them with 'l',it's totally wrong -nods-

Uh, Nan, I think the 'tsu' is a little tsu, and just lengthens 'shu' to 'sshu' instead of having it's own value. That just makes more sense to me, idk.

girugamesh's next album will be release on November 5th. Though currently untitled, it will be available in two editions. The regular version will include twelve tracks while the limited version will only include nine, but will also come with a DVD featuring footage from the band's shining tour '08 SHOOTING SUMMER, their performance at the Wacken festival, a music video and backstage shots.
