That's an interesting point you brought up to, about other countries doing vk. In my opinon, it wouldn't be. Not that vk is only sung in Japanese, since they do english, or engrish a lot themselves, but i just don't think it would be the same, somehow.

Uhh, one of the main themes of VK is dressing up AS A GIRL. Girls don't have much to gain in VK. O_O

As for me, I like both the music and the style. I think it combines the best of both worlds. It also appeals to me because I like both music and fashion.

Why do I like V-Kei? Because it stirs a sense of passion, yearning, and longing in my soul. It awakens my sleeping heart and stimulates me in a way that no other genre can. I love the raw depths of despair in Tatsurou's vulnerable scream (MUCC), the refined elegance of Mana-sama's many costumes (Malice Mizer), the take-no-prisoners angst of Dir En Grey (and the way Kyo looked in a dress and makeup in the video for Garden) and the plaintive vocals of Satsuki (Rentrer en Soi). Most of all, I love how my heart skips a beat when I see all those pretty boys in dresses.

I love Visual Kei because all the boys are so hot. Haha, just kidding.

I love the fashion and the music itself, it's can be really heavy like scream your guts out and then it can be really light with deep lyrics.
