Does anyone know what the name of this song is?

What genre of Japanese music is this?
What Japanese artists sound like this?
What lyrics can you identify (in Japanese but also English translation)

I've been told by some people that it sounds like it could be a type of Vocaloid music such as Hatsune Miku.

There's also a chance that it could be the opening theme to an anime.

What I do know is that the song is at least as old as 2010 but probably even older.
