Talking Please help me find the name for this song - 07-19-2010, 03:07 PM

Hey everyone!

I was on a flight recently and was listening to the in-flight radio channels. While doing so i came across this really nice Japanese song that i don't know the name off and am desperately searching for. I have no intention of offending anyone as my understanding of the Japanese language goes as far as the common words used in Naruto. The words that were sung from the chorus went something like:

pani-pani-pani-pani-pani-pani-pani waaaaa!!
(repeat)
Pani x 12 Waa!

It was a female singer and not a rock song. Not too fast or slow. I would deeply appreciate it if anyone knew this track! Thank you!!

Shiina Ringo is awesome, she also has a band called Tokyo Jihen. She varies in her music so she isn't specific to one genre. Jazz/ pop/ rock I guess?

Last Alliance is a band that isn't among the popular ( probably cause they're not part of journeys) but they sang the ending song for the anime Ouran Host Club. A lot of their songs are pretty catchy and have an overall positive feel in the lyrics and music.

Exclamation JROCK Help...please - 07-28-2010, 07:11 PM

Ok well I'm trying to get my mom into jrock, she's a HUGE fan of Vamps she listens to Devil side daily, and she really liked Rainbows by Alice Nine (she likes Tora's guitar solo lol) and I was wondering if anyone here had any suggestions of any Jrock bands she might like.

Thank you very much -bows- ^.^

Ya that's usually the case when I tell them she said she would cosplay with me if we went to a con lol, it's nice to see someone who's parent is also into jrock, now my mom won't feel so alone lol, I've only heard one of UVERworld's songs myself (blood+) so I'll have to check them out too ^.^
