The reason you see more Rock then Pop or whomever, if you really want to get technical about it, is because the Rock movement is more widely know and honestly more widely diverse then the other branches of J Music. Doesn't make the other branches less important, but I guarentee you if you ask someone what's your favorite Japanese music six out of ten will give you a J Rock band. It doesn't help matters that for every one band of another genre there are three JRock bands or VK even, since that can also be considered Rock. It's just fact. There are more Rock bands then anyone else. Thus leaving the forums more full of Rock then anyone else. Fact of life.

However the point of this thread is not the popularity of the bands, but of the possessive ownership that some of us have taken for certain members. Which leaves me to repeat myself, we are possessive because we like the music and the band themselves. We protect against slander and stupid accusations and provide info for those that just don't know anything and want to know more.

If you're going to criticize at least do it appropriately and know what you're talking about before you do.

I said nothing about you guys and your little obsessions.
Where are you pulling these things from?
Did you not read my post earlier.
It was right above yours.

Anyway,
I was simply responding to big red letters claiming that this whole forum was about j music
These letters also questioned why people signed up

Jrock
Jmusic
Either way your little fierce comment there was still labeling an entire group.

omg, i love ilovedaisuke7, jrocker21, LittleFallenAngel and JRockaddict... i want to kidnap them, handcuff to my bed and rape them one by one :>

But if seriously, i see all this as a part of immature women psychology... There have always been bunch of fangirls to any successful male band, let it be The Beatles, Ramones, Nirvana or Tokyo Hotel, since girls tend to have a need for their "dream prince" - usually a famous actor, musician, sportsmen and often they take it slightly too far... although i do not quite understand the cause of such phenomena
Anyways, yes, i do find all the talk about owning someone quite irritating, but mostly because for me, it's all about the music and not about the performer.

No one is hurt by it. It's harmless.

I can't believe the OP or anyone is truly offended or creeped out by them.

I can easily see someone being offended by them. If there's someone out there with a mind that can jokingly, or unjokingly take such a fangirl approach to their expression of how they feel about an actor/actress/singer/music artist/what have you then naturally there's going to be someone out there who will be bothered by someone acting that way about their favourite actor/actress/singer/music artist/what have you.

Creeped out in a threatening way? No I can't see that happening either. I can however see people bothered by it in a way that strikes said fangirl stalker to be a little creepy in their expression of their possessive and obsessive behaviour.

Just because you have your terms of what is or isn't offensive, or creeped out worthy doesn't mean someone else may have a different perception at which they define those terms.

no, its very easy to be creeped out by a fangirl. some of us really do do some pretty strange stuff. but i think being on the internet long enough and seeing some of the real creepy and offensive stuff, what we do here really doesnt seem that bad and is really kinda fun
