In that sentance i was not referring to the sigs. I guess, i should have pointed that out. By taking it too far, i mean the obsession with a person, having their pictures on everything from math notepads to lunch boxes and clothing (imagine how silly would that look, if that person was just a regular non-famous guy) to what you said - stalking and stealing their stuff. Again, i am not comparing any of these actions to having a jrocker in a sig.
I'll repeat myself: I find all the talk about owning some star irritating, so i usually do not visit any of the jmusic threads, in order to avoid it. And as i wrote before: i do not understand this obsession, since to me, it has always been only about the product of the performer - the music and not their looks, thus i find such talks quite dull, but i can not escape it when it's in users signature, which follows their every post...

Wow, i'm shocked you guys call it "creepy". In that sense, every fan/admiror of anyone is creepy.
Look at it this way. If someone has a poster of a celebrity, then that should be considered creepy in your eyes also right? With your logic, you can easily say "omg, that person is so creepy that he/she needs a poster in their room so that they can STARE at someone non stop"...
Or another one, if you learn someones lyrics off by heart, with your logic you can easily say. " wtf, this person is creepy, he/she is learning all the lyrics to be exactly like that singer. thats just so weird"...

I agree with MMM, as i've stated before. It's not hurting anyone and it shouldn't bother anyone! At least they don't say "I know where miyavi lives. omg, im gonna go to japan and surprise him by breaking into his house". Now, that would be creepy! but otherwise, "I own *input celebrity*" is just harmless childish play!
