Well too bad what we all see as "the best artists" isn't very compatible to what the next poster acknowledges!!
So I will respect what others see as good music to them. Seeing as how I started this thread to hear what they think good music is in their country & if it is better today than it was in the 80's & 90's. So I'm sorry if I offended anyone in any of my past posts.

But in return I would like if ppl took the same initiative towards other pplz thoughts & opinons.

Now back to these past statements, as for me being close-minded (as we all know I am very open-minded to just about anything) No I just see that the point of making music is to;
do what you love
get famous
get awards
please your fans
speak the truths
try to achieve something new in making music
be remembered
and give the ppl something to listen to, while showing the ones who paved the way for all these types of musical genres that their accomplishments haven't been forgotten.
As you all know it is hard to find good underground music or underground music period!! That's why it's prolly called underground, and the fact that if they go mainstream with it it prolly won't be as raw & real. Which I think is all up to the person if they wanna "sell out" or not.

And on that note I hope we can all share our views on music world wide with out any convictions or further disputes. Thank you!!

My last concert was Maroon 5. My ears rang for about a week afterwards...

The only J I'm really familiar with are Utada and Kawada Mami. I like the latter quite a lot, but it's hard to get her stuff over here :P .

hmm my fav band well right now would probably be.. The Bravery.
and i would also have to go with Puffy Ami Yumi..the show was pretty good too.

edit..the last concert i went to was a band that a few people i know play in..its pretty cool. and there were more than one band and we pretty much moshed all night.it was sick. except for almost getting kicked by this psycho dude (who kicked some girl in the face and well it was funny..im mean) moshing can be dangerous with some people.
