Maybe I missed it, but why has no one mentioned X Japan???????!!!!!!
If you want the VERY BEST of J music, anything from aggressive metal to tear-jerking ballads, X Japan is the band for you!!!!!!

Dir en grey was very different than other bands during the time that i found out about them.
Thay had that certian something that set them aside from anyone else.
I still like them even though their not VK anymore.
But its true, the Vk style was cooler when they were younger, but everyone in Diru are now in their late 20s early 30s
so it would be kinda strange to see a 30 year old man screaming his lungs out in kimono like dress, boots with heels, and tears drawn on with eyeliner.
But their new look is ok too.

the new music came from the old
and if someone only likes the new music,in my opinion, you're not even worthy of being called a fan

I'm a JPop Maniac. I won't listen to any other Pop in the world, especially US Pop. It just totally sucks. >_<

I love JRock too. But I prefer JPop me believes.

yep, most us pop musicians eventually turn all slutty and dope addicts. while in japan, theyre still kawaii and cool. I listen mostly to jrock but you just can't deny the cuteness of some jpop artists.

can't really listen or watch anything due to the fact that i have crap speed internet. she plays the lead role in azumi. funny, if you watch the behind the scenes on the dvd, she gets whacked in the head by one of the sword props. she gets a huge bump on her head, but still preforms her action scenes.

Jpop singer Izumi Sakai of ZARD has died - 05-28-2007, 06:18 AM

I saw on the news that the Izumi Sakai, the singer for 90's Jpop band ZARD died at only the age of 40. She had cancer, but apparently she died from falling down the stairs at a hospital in Tokyo. ZARD was pretty big in Japan in the 1990's.

Here is a ZARD video, in case you've never seen Izumi Sakai - there are more on YouTube too:
