Will there be fights this year on TV New Years Eve?

I saw the Akebono travesty a couple years back. Was it Bob Sapp he was fighting? I can't believe people thought Akebono would last more than 10 seconds.

Yeah, there are two big shows in Japan, Yarennoka ( Yarennoka! - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ) and like every year K-1 Dynamite ( K-1 PREMIUM 2007 Dynamite!! - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia )
which I am looking real forward to the KID Yamamoto fight.

I dont think akebono fought bob sapp, but some gigantic brazillian guy called Giant Silva, who always loses, and akebono still lost. I think he should just stick to his pro wrestling for now.

If Pride and K-1 have joined forces, why do they go up agaisnt each other on New Years Eve?

Ohh, I guess they did fight.

Pride actually was sold out to Zuffa who owns UFC, Yarennoka is put on buy people that used to work for Pride, it is like their last sendoff. actaully in the past K-1 and Pride had a falling out and competed against each other on NYE.
