I like to watch BJJ but Fedor put sambo on the map. I did judo for 4 years and it was great fun. However, like a Polish author (Marcin Bruczkowski) stated, judo and karate are not nearly as popular in Japan as people think. I had to agree with him here. They may have had Pride and now Dream but the UFC has really surpassed those.

I see other people on here have practiced kendo. I have too! We should get our own dojo together! (lol, if only. We all probably live a bazillion miles away from each other) I have my own shinai, but haven't practiced in years. I really miss it!
I'm currently learning tai-chi, which is very meditative and relaxing! It's very complicated at first, but with practice anyone can do it. |

The eternal Saint is calling, through the ages she has told. The ages have not listened; the will of faith has grown old… For forever she will wander, for forever she withholds; the Demon King is on his way, you’d best not be learned untold… Check out my You Tube channel (it's new and there's not much there yet, but check back every week and you should find a new vid of hardcore fighting): http://www.youtube.com/user/SarahSunwalker |

I use to compete in Tang Su Do. My dadien is an instructor.
Over here in Aus martial arts is kinda mucked up, cause people just wonna look good they dont care about the actual defense of Karate. Karate is one MAJOR reason why im going to go to Japan, cause i wonna look at how it should be done lol! AnnieBirde3
