Hockey teams in Japan

I was wondering if anyone on here knew of any Hockey teams in Japan. I have a friend at my University that has played for Keio University but I have not heard of many others. Please let me know if you know of any. Thanks!

I think it's happened before.

It'd be cool if it happened again.

While we're on the topic, some teams in the NHL *coughLEAFScough* or *coughSENScough* should look into acquiring Yutaka Fukufuji. He can't do much worse than the goalies they have now.

I believe it has. The Flames played a game in Japan a few years ago, back when Theoren Fleury was a member of the team. He was well-liked, if memory serves.

They have the time to open negotiations with him, seeing as they're not doing anything else at the moment....

I know about the Cranes and the Kukudo who play in the ALIH.

Hockey is pretty lame in Asia though, the best team of the ALIH wouldn't even be close to beat a standard team of the AHL.

Edit : AHL ? what am I saying, couldn't beat ECHL team I mean.
